Long-Term Care Planning Marketplace for New Employees

Permanent Term Life Insurance with Long-Term Care Benefits

New employees aged 19-70 working 30 or more hours per week may enroll with no health questions up to $150,000 in coverage. Eligible employees must enroll within 30 days of their eligible hire date. Spouses may enroll with limited health questions up to the lesser of 50% of the employee amount or $30,000 in coverage. Coverage up to $75,000 for spouses and coverage up to $50,000 for employees aged 71-80 require medical questions.

Traditional Long-Term Care Insurance

Traditional Long-term coverage provides a benefit to offset the cost of custodial care not covered by health insurance or Medicare. Policies can be customized to meet the specific needs and budgets for long term care planning needs. Plan options and rates vary by state. Full medical underwriting is required.

Short-Term Care Insurance

Short-term care insurance covers less than 365 days of care. Other than its shorter duration period, short-term care shares many of the same benefits and features as you would find in Long Term Care insurance. 25% of individuals admitted to a nursing facility will stay 3 months or less. Having coverage for a short-term stay can be important, especially when Long Term Care insurance is not available due to an individual's health, age or finances.

Portability
